Brocket Hall launches Technogym Performance Centre
Brocket Hall Estate has introduced a new level of wellness and education to one of England’s most established country club golf destinations. In partnership with Technogym, the Hertfordshire estate has created a state-of-the-art training environment to support golfers, wellness members, and the community.

Over the last two years, the business has broadened its offer to support getting people more active. The evolution began with a new golf academy and driving range experience designed to give golfers access to professional-level technology, coaching, and education. Building on the success of the academy, Brocket Hall identified wellness as the next area for growth.
Lee Williams, Estate General Manager at Brocket Hall, explains how the Technogym Performance Centre marks a significant evolution for the business.
Building The Vision Together
“We gave Technogym the footprint and they designed the entire experience,” said Lee. “From the layout and equipment selection to the member journey, they’ve been the architects of our Performance Centre and studio.”
The ambitious project was completed in three months, transforming the building into what the estate believes is one of the most advanced fitness facilities in any golf environment in England.
Expanding beyond golf
On a visit to Technogym Village in Italy, they were introduced to Technogym Biostrength REV. The solution became a standout feature of the Performance Centre, making Brocket Hall the first golf club in Europe to offer the AI-powered strength training system.
“When we saw Biostrength REV and the science behind it, we knew it was exactly what we needed,” said Lee. “Biostrength gives all our members access to highly personalised training technology that is incredibly advanced but simple enough for anyone to use.”
Elevating the member experience
The integration of Technogym Checkup has become an important element of the member journey. Using AI-driven assessment technology, the system gives users personalised data that can be used to create targeted programmes through the Technogym digital ecosystem.
A separate studio has been designed as a flexible environment that can support yoga, group cycle, and Reformer Pilates. The design of Technogym Reform allows the space to be adapted throughout the timetable whilst maintaining a premium aesthetic.
Supporting Long-Term Wellness
The facility has already had a measurable impact, with average member age reducing from 60 to 40. Around 65% of total member numbers are new people, including partners and families of golfers as well as locals joining specifically for the wellness facilities.
Most of Brocket Hall’s golf members have joined, discovering how Technogym Checkup data and Biostrength personalised strength training can improve their longevity in the sport.
“Our trainers have been blown away by the technology and tools available in the Performance Centre,” said Lee. “Members can’t believe they have access to this level of equipment and innovation.”
By combining performance technology with accessible, user-friendly solutions, the Technogym Performance Centre positions Brocket Hall at the forefront of country club innovation, impacting its members, youth academy, and many community initiatives.
