Music for training has become a valuable companion for millions of people: it helps in keeping the effort and the pace high, while it facilitates concentration and relieves fatigue. So you might be wondering, what is the best music for training?
Some people are the latest radio hit loyalists while others prepare music playlists carefully at home creating different moods for functional training and songs for cardio fitness or bodybuilding.

More and more gym goers are choosing to stream music to create playlists following different styles, genres, but above all different rhythms. What matters to them is that music gives them an impulse to start training.

STREAMING MUSIC, A WIDESPREAD CHOICE FOR TRAINING WITH RHYTHM

The use of music for training streaming is a trend that continues to grow and now involves users of all ages and social backgrounds. Do you need some numbers? Spotify Premium subscribers have reached 83 million: this is revealed by the financial results published by the Swedish giant of music streaming on the portal dedicated to investors.

This is a 10% increase in the second quarter compared to the first quarter of 2018, with a yearly 40% increase. Important numbers also for those who opt for the free service (with the insertion of advertisements): 101 million users, again on a monthly basis.

Spotify - which has recently been listed on the Stock Exchange and is certainly one of the most used streaming music platforms together with its competitor Apple Music - has released data on songs for training that sportsmen and women love to listen to in order to get the boost between an aerobic session and a run on the treadmill.
