Technogym Biostrength: smart strength machines for adaptive training

Q: What space and electrical infrastructure is required to install Biostrength® equipment?

The complete Biostrength line consists of 15 specialized strength machines (including Chest Press, Leg Press, and Low Row). A standard, high-throughput strength training layout typically utilizes 6 to 9 curated stations. Each station requires a standard electrical outlet and an active local Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection to sync with Mywellness CRM. Our Interior Design team can provide customized 2D and 3D floor plan layouts to maximize floor-space efficiency.

Q: How does Biostrength reduce staff pressure on our training floor?

On a traditional gym floor, trainers spend a significant amount of their time on manual machine setup, posture correction, and progression tracking. Biostrength automates these administrative tasks. After a one-time onboarding, the equipment recognizes the member instantly, sets their exact seat height, programs their load, and guides their range of motion. This allows one trainer to manage and interact with a significantly larger active floor safely.

Q: Is the Biostrength line certified for medical fitness and physical therapy?

Select configurations of the Biostrength line are officially certified as Class IIa Medical Devices in full compliance with the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) 2017/745. This enables operators to safely cater to post-rehabilitation patients, active seniors, and clinical wellness populations, opening up referral partnerships with local medical clinics.

Q: How do our existing members transition to Biostrength if they are used to traditional pin-selected equipment?

The transition is remarkably smooth. For beginners or traditional users, the Free Training mode allows them to sit down, manually select their weight on-screen, and train instantly. Once they build confidence, they can easily activate Goal Programs (such as Tone or Strong) or follow structured pathways assigned by your training staff through the Mywellness app.

Q: How does the Biodrive™ system actually deliver "+30% better results"?

Traditional weights only load the muscle effectively during a portion of the movement. Biodrive™ is a patented, AI-driven electronic motor that alters resistance up to several thousand times per second. By matching the user's natural strength curve and offering customizable advanced training methods (such as eccentric overload, which adds load when the muscle is lengthening), Biostrength ensures maximum neuromuscular activation and accelerated physiological adaptation in a shorter timeframe.
